Holroyd Local History Research aims to document by way of photos and written works, the history of the Holroyd and surrounding
area by researching the everyday people, shops, schools and industry that made the area what it is today.
We are looking for photos or stories of people/families/businesses/places of interest in the Holroyd (formerly known
as Prospect & Sherwood) and surrounding area of Western Sydney.
This area covers the suburbs of Merrylands, Guildford,
Westmead, Wentworthville, Greystanes, Mays Hill and some parts of Prospect, Girraween, Toongabbie, Pendle Hill, Smithfield,
Granville and Yennora. We also research some people and places of the Parramatta district as well.
